SUPER DELICIOUS is Joanna Vernetti, Cara Tapper and Adam Cohen. They’ve been “keeping it real” since 2001. Cara got her start in feature films then moved into commercials where she recruited Joanna and the two went on to produce big car commercials. Adam cut his teeth in reality TV starting with MTV’s “Road Rules.” The three came together on a reality car campaign for General Motors: “Where would you go and what would you do with the keys to this car?” Adam brought in his reality experience and Cara/ Joanna brought their producing chops. The campaign was a huge success for the Pontiac brand and gave the three the start to their relationship.

Since then the trio has produced a number of series for broadcast networks and cable outlets. The first show produced under the SUPER DELICIOUS banner was “THE BIG URBAN MYTH SHOW” for MTV. This show tackled modern day urban legends to separate fact from fiction in a hysterical, factual and fast paced series. After two successful seasons, they went onto lasso “THE ASSISTANT” with Andy Dick, also for MTV. “THE ASSISTANT” parodied every big reality show out there. When production wrapped, MTV sent them back in time to produce “THE 70’S HOUSE” – a show that challenged modern day teens to live strictly by the fashion, entertainment and technology of the 1970’s. “THE 70’S HOUSE” was sponsored in part by Hewlett Packard which launched their “then and now” campaign – comparing life in the 1970’s to life in 2005. SUPER DELICIOUS was the natural choice to shoot this campaign, given their background in commercial production. The slick 30-second spots marked a brief but serendipitous return to their roots. click here to view HP commercials

Next up they developed and piloted shows for NBC and VH1 and shot their breakout hit “MANswers” for SPIKE TV. “MANswers” is a comedic late-night series that aims to satisfy the curiosity of Spike viewers by answering questions like “Can you beat a breathalizer?” and “How long can you survive on beer alone?” or “Just how tough ARE silicone implants?” (yep, very guy stuff.) “MANswers” premiered in September 2007 and quickly became the number one show on SPIKE TV. SUPER DELICIOUS is currently in production on season 2 of “MANswers”.

The summer of 2007 brought SUPER DELICIOUS to Portage des Sioux, Missouri where they co-produced “FARMER WANTS A WIFE” with Fremantle Media for the CW. It’s Prada meets John Deere as 10 city girls go to the farm to compete for the heart of one gorgeous, single farmer. SUPER DELICIOUS was also brought in by Mark Burnett to Executive Produce “AMNESIA” for NBC. “AMNESIA” is a game show that tests contestants on their knowledge of their own lives and awards big money for correct answers. “Can you remember your high school locker combo for twenty thousand dollars?”

While they continue to produce and develop new reality series, SUPER DELICIOUS recently made the leap into scripted television and has two scripts in development at ABC Family – a one-hour drama and a movie of the week.

Super Delicious is represented by Marc Provissiero, Chris Newman & Elise Henderson at The William Morris Agency.
